Former UBM Tech Executives Form Activate, a New Technology Marketing Company
A group of technology marketing executives today announced the formation of Activate, a new technology marketing firm that combines insights into the technology buying process with a full suite of content marketing, lead nurture, media and event services. The company, founded by CEO Ed Grossman, former President of UBM Tech’s Business Technology Media, will provide services to technology vendors. Working on the launch of Activate are Fritz Nelson, former SVP and Editorial Director of UBM Tech’s InformationWeek Business Technology Network, Art Wittmann, former VP and Editor-in-Chief of UBM Tech’s Network Computing and Martha Schwartz, former UBM Tech Chief Sales Officer. The company will immediately be hiring a VP of Nurture Services and several sales director positions.
